Funding: Up to $30,000 available, covering up to 75% of eligible costs for heat pump screening and a detailed feasibility study.
Benefits: Provides a clear, evidence-based assessment of whether heat pumps are technically and financially viable for your site. Identifies costs, infrastructure constraints, energy and emissions reduction potential, and key risks. Can be undertaken as a standalone study or following an energy audit to inform electrification decisions.
-
Energy Performance Services Grant - Round 1 (Open)
Applicable to: NSW-based small to medium businesses, councils, and eligible organisations seeking to improve energy performance at non-residential sites. Best suited to organisations with clear energy savings potential that want to engage an Energy Performance Service (EPS) provider.
Funding: Up to $50,000, covering up to 75 percent of eligible costs for engaging an EPS provider to scope, analyse, and prepare an energy performance project.
Benefits: Supports upfront planning and commercial assessment of energy efficiency projects delivered under an Energy Performance Contract. Helps identify bankable energy savings opportunities, implementation pathways, indicative costs, savings, and risk allocation. Reduces early-stage risk and improves readiness for larger capex or financed energy upgrades.oes here

Submetering Grant - Round 2 (Open)
Applicable to: NSW-based businesses, strata schemes, councils, and eligible organisations installing electricity submetering at non-residential sites. Suited to sites with multiple tenants, processes, or major loads where energy use visibility is limited.
Funding: Up to $20,000, covering up to 50 percent of eligible costs for the purchase and installation of electricity submetering equipment and related works.
Benefits: Improves visibility of electricity use at a granular level. Enables better energy management, cost allocation, and identification of efficiency opportunities. Provides high-quality data to support energy audits, demand management, electrification planning, and future energy investment decisions.
-
Electric Vehicle Fleets Incentive (Open)
Applicable to: NSW-based businesses, councils, and organisations operating vehicle fleets and planning to transition light, medium, or heavy vehicles to electric. Best suited to fleets with a clear replacement pipeline and the ability to commit to vehicle deployment within required timeframes.
Funding: Competitive grant funding. Amount varies by project and bid strength. Funding supports a portion of the incremental cost of electric vehicles compared to internal combustion vehicles, and may include supporting infrastructure where eligible.
Benefits: Reduces upfront cost barriers to fleet electrification. Accelerates transition to electric vehicles, lowers fuel and maintenance costs, and delivers measurable emissions reductions. Supports large-scale fleet change with clear commercial and environmental outcomes, strengthening the business case for electrification.
-
National Industrial Transformation Program (Open)
Applicable to: Australian industrial businesses with high emissions or energy use, including manufacturing, processing, and resource sectors, undertaking projects that materially reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Suited to organisations pursuing studies, pilots, demonstrations, or deployment of decarbonisation technologies at scale.
Funding: Competitive grant funding. Amount varies by project scope and impact, ranging from feasibility studies to large multi-million-dollar deployment projects. Co-contribution is required and projects must demonstrate strong emissions reduction outcomes.
Benefits: Supports industrial decarbonisation through electrification, energy efficiency, fuel switching, energy storage, and enabling infrastructure. Reduces technical and commercial risk for first-of-kind or scaled projects. Enables credible emissions reductions, improved energy productivity, and long-term competitiveness of Australian industry.
-
